3 Things to Get Your Hustle On

Today I’m sharing the three things that I do to keep my workout motivation STRONG! It’s always a good idea to have something to shake up our day to day routines and keep us moving!


Movement Motivator

One of my favorite things to do in order to get some encouragement to workout is to watch and listen to others hustle too! I use this not as a point of comparison, but a point of inspiration! Finding someone to look up to in this regard has been super beneficial for me.


Dancing is one of my favorite things to do for both exercise and as an outlet for creative expression. My favorite person to follow is Derek Hough because he blends athleticism, artistry, and musicality in perfect balance. He’s committed to a well-rounded lifestyle and pushes his body to the max so he can be his best self. I highly recommend following him on social media platforms!


Derek Hough inspires me to hustle and celebrate what movement can do for our bodies and souls!

Change it Up!

Sometimes it’s easy to find ourselves getting stuck in a workout regimen that can get a little monotonous. So, in order to keep the motivation high, I’m always looking for ways to step outside of my comfort zone and move in a way that I’m not used to.


Group fitness is awesome for this because there are so many options to choose from! I really enjoy HIIT, cycling, and (my personal favorite) ZUMBA. And if group fitness isn’t in my tempo for the day, I’ll go for a run outside or throw on a dance tutorial video that I’ve never done before. Overall, it can be really refreshing to stimulate your body in different ways and reach beyond your comfort zone!


New Workout Gear

This one is probably my favorite point because WHO DOESN’T LIKE CUTE WORKOUT CLOTHES?! I find that if I treat myself every once and a while to a new pair of leggings or whatever it may be, I immediately want to get my hustle on! I see it as an investment in my health. Also, I’m a big believer in the whole, “If you look good, you feel good” thing and visa versa. When it comes to working out, that idea applies too!


You also don’t have to spend a crazy amount of money just to get good quality and cute gear. My favorite places to search for great deals are TjMaxx, Old Navy, and Target!
